LONGARM BASICS
Learn the basics of batting, quilting needles, feet, loading a quilt and quilting on a longarm. We’ll explore deciding which batting, needles and thread are right for your quilt. In addition, we’ll discuss the proper foot and quilting techniques. Get a hands-on experience loading a quilt on the frame and operating the BERNINA Q24 machine. This class is a prerequisite before participating in Margie’s guided longarm rental program.

Merilee is our longarm instructor and regularly attends training to keep herself informed on these machines. She is normally available in the store to answer any questions you may have about the class on Mondays and Tuesdays.
