Have you ever just wanted to get together with your friends to have a “sew day”? Maybe you don’t have enough space to sew at home and would love to go where you could use a cutting table, iron and other items and then just get up and go home. Perhaps you don’t have a sewing machine yet and want to work on projects that you haven’t finished in class?
We are now offering “Open Sew” times at Margie’s! Bring your friends, your machine, supplies and work on your
projects at your leisure. You’ll have use of the cutting table, ironing station, coffee, soft drinks, refrigerator and
microwave are available, and of course if you need anything it’s all right there you don’t have to stop and run to the store. If you don’t have a machine and need to use one of ours, we will have a limited number of machines available to use during “Open Sew” times for an additional nominal fee. You will need to reserve one when you sign up for the space. We are starting with a few days a month to see how well the idea goes and will increase the number of days as we see the demand increase.
Minimum age of 16 to sew without supervision, otherwise must be accompanied by an adult for the entire session.
